How To Keep Your Eyes On Jesus.

     How can a person keep their eyes on Jesus?  John 1:1 tells us that Jesus is the Word.  Keep your eyes on the promises of the Word of God and don’t be moved by the circumstances that are contrary to what the Word of God says.  Yet to keep your eyes on the Word of God, you must be around the Word of God.  You can not keep your eyes on something or someone that you are not around.  You keep your eyes on Jesus by staying in prayer, reading the Word of God (confessing , memorizing, and quoting it).  Get your eyes off of the many other things that try to get your attention.  If you have your eyes on too many things you can not keep your eyes on Jesus.  Get tunnel vision for the Lord, wherein the only thing that you see is Jesus.  When we look at the disciples, we must realize that they began to operate in the power of God because they kept their eyes on Jesus, for they were around Him, probably everyday for 3 ½ years.  Another way to keep your eyes on Jesus is through praise.  Praise always causes you to put your eyes upon the Lord as you thank Him and speak of how wonderful and powerful He is.  Whenever you are struggling with keeping your eyes on the Lord, while you are pressing for a breakthrough in the Spirit, then begin to praise God.

     When you keep your eyes on the Word of God (Jesus), it strengthens your confidence.  When you know that the victorious one (Jesus Christ) is with you in every circumstance, and in the face of every natural and spiritual obstacle, your faith is released causing you to also be victorious in everything because of Jesus Christ. 

     Whatever your ministry call or service to the Lord is, if you want to walk in the supernatural power of God to fulfill them, then you must keep your eyes on Jesus at all times.
